Great Scott! The Olivier Award-winning West End spectacular brings Marty McFly, Doc Brown and that time-travelling DeLorean to Bristol.
The multi-award-winning stage version of the beloved 1985 film roars into Bristol Hippodrome as part of its first ever UK tour, running from Thursday 8 October to Saturday 21 November 2026. Brought to the stage by the film's original creators Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, the show has already picked up Best New Musical honours at the Olivier, WhatsOnStage and BroadwayWorld Awards.
Meet the cast
International stage and screen star Roger Bart reprises his acclaimed turn as Doc Brown, having played the role in Manchester, the West End, Broadway and Sydney, alongside rising Australian performer Axel Duffy as Marty McFly.
The story and the spectacle
When teenage Marty is accidentally hurled back to 1955 in a time machine built by eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he must repair the timeline before it's too late – all set to a score combining Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard originals with hits from the movie including The Power of Love, Johnny B. Goode and Earth Angel. A show-stopping full-size DeLorean takes flight on stage in a production praised for its "high-voltage comedy" and technical wizardry.

Performances run Monday to Saturday at 19:30, with additional matinees Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 14:30. Age guidance is 6+, with under-16s required to sit next to an adult; the show contains strobe lighting, loud sound, haze and pyrotechnics.
