Bristol's festive season gets underway as the Christmas Market returns with more than 40 stalls, seasonal food and drink, gifts and plenty of Christmas atmosphere in the heart of the city.
Bristol Christmas Market takes over Broadmead from 7 November to 23 December 2026, filling the city's Shopping Quarter with over 40 festive stalls selling gifts, crafts and seasonal treats.
Food, drink and entertainment
Visitors can warm up with mulled wine, Glühwein or Baileys hot chocolate at the Jäger Barn Bar and Bar Glissé, tuck into German Bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, hog roast, crepes and churros, and enjoy live music, Santa visits, elves on stilts and Christmas choirs throughout the run.
Something a little different
For a more unusual experience, private ski gondolas and a hot air balloon dining basket can be booked for small groups, offering an alpine-inspired setting for festive food and drink away from the bustle of the market.
Opening times
Festive stalls typically run 10am–7pm, with food stalls and bars open until 10pm; the market closes early, at 6pm, on its final day.
