High Society is a lavish new musical starring Helen George

Clear your diary, because you’re invited to the most glamorous party of the summer as High Society arrives in a dazzling new production packed with wit, romance and show-stopping songs.

This eagerly anticipated tour delivers an irresistible slice of Golden Age musical theatre escapism, complete with champagne sparkle, sharp comedy and timeless sophistication.

Beloved stage and screen star Helen George (Call the Midwife, The King and I) leads the cast as the elegant and headstrong socialite Tracy Lord. She is joined by an all-star ensemble including Freddie Fox (Slow Horses) and Julian Ovenden (South Pacific).

Performed alongside a full-size orchestra, this lavish production features a score overflowing with the very best of Cole Porter’s legendary songbook, including Just One of Those Things, Let’s Misbehave, I Love Paris, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Well, Did You Evah! and the swoon-worthy True Love.

Set against the backdrop of a glamorous waterfront estate, the story follows preparations for the society wedding of the year but as old flames reappear, new romances ignite and a sharp-eyed tabloid reporter starts sniffing out scandal, chaos is never far behind.

Brought to life by a multi award-winning creative team, including acclaimed director Rachel Kavanaugh and celebrated choreographer Anthony Van Laast, this sumptuous production promises elegance, energy and pure theatrical joy from curtain up to final bow.

With a 28-strong cast, unforgettable music and plenty of sparkling drama, High Society officially declares the summer theatre season open and it’s one invitation you won’t want to decline.
