Michael Sheen stars as Owain Glyndŵr in Gary Owen's epic new play about power, national identity and rebellion.
An epic story of power, national identity, and the price of silence. In 1400, Owain Glyndŵr (Michael Sheen), a forgotten lord of a small northern land, is declared an outlaw by King Henry IV (Linus Roache). Rather than surrender, Owain rises in rebellion — and the two men find themselves on opposite sides of history.
Written by Olivier Award-winning Welsh playwright Gary Owen (Iphigenia in Splott) and co-directed by Michael Sheen and Steffan Donnelly. A Wales Millennium Centre and Welsh National Theatre co-production.
