Meet Santa and his elves on a magical journey through an enchanting Christmas workshop at The Royal Mint Experience.
Meet Santa and his elves as you venture through an enchanting workshop and discover timeless tales of Christmas traditions that begin with a single coin.
On this charming journey through Santa's workshop, the Chief Helpers bring stories to life about our most loved Christmas traditions. Explore the factory that makes toys for children around the world, then step into Santa's Grotto for exclusive family time with the big man himself. Every child ticket includes a special gift from Santa — a limited-edition luxury teddy bear exclusive to The Royal Mint Christmas Experience.
A hilarious and heart-warming festive live show is included in the price of your ticket, performed in the café at set times throughout the day. You can also strike your very own coin to celebrate your visit (available at an additional cost of £8.50, or included in Ultimate Bundle packages), post your Christmas wishes through the magic post box, and capture the moment with professional photos available to purchase from £10.
The decorated café serves a festive menu, and the gift shop is packed with luxury decorations and precious coins to start a Christmas tradition of your own. Urban Markets with locally produced food and crafts visit on Saturday 28th November and Sunday 13th December 2026, free to enter without a ticket.
The first tour every day is an Autism Friendly Christmas Experience, with a quieter visitor centre, smaller groups and toned-down sensory triggers — these sessions sell out quickly, so book in advance.
Tickets are limited and sell quickly, so advance booking is essential. The experience is mostly indoors with a short walk to Santa's Workshop. Please note the Christmas Experience does not include the factory tour.
