Simple Things Festival

Now in its second decade, Simple Things is Bristol's genre-spanning, multi-venue music festival, curated by Crack Magazine and Team Love in partnership with Bristol Beacon, taking over venues across the city centre for its main festival day plus a run of standalone shows either side.

The line-up

This year's bill includes The Avalanches, Squid, Shabaka, Cobrah, Panda Bear & Sonic Boom and Moor Mother, alongside cutting-edge electronic, post-punk and experimental artists and curated showcases, reflecting the festival's reputation for pushing the boundaries of contemporary music culture.

Beyond the main day

The week typically builds with a series of standalone concerts at Bristol Beacon and other venues, before culminating in the main festival day across multiple stages, with official afterparties running into the small hours.
