The RHS Badminton Flower Show 2026
Published on
This July, a brand-new event joins the UK’s gardening calendar with the launch of the RHS Badminton Flower Show, set within the sweeping parkland of the historic Badminton Estate.
Taking place from 8–12 July, this five-day celebration promises a perfect summer day out filled with inspiration, colour and creativity. Created by the Royal Horticultural Society, the team behind the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show, the event brings together cutting-edge garden design, stunning floral displays and a packed programme of talks from leading names in horticulture, including Adam Frost, Arit Anderson, Rachel de Thame, Ashley Edwards and Adam Kirtland.
Show gardens and creative inspiration
At the heart of the show are the spectacular Show Gardens, designed by award-winning creators who explore themes of wellbeing, sustainability and connection to nature. Visitors can also discover Artisan, Young Designer and Feature Gardens, each offering a fresh and imaginative take on outdoor spaces. A standout attraction is The Archers’ Bridge Farm garden, celebrating 75 years of BBC Radio 4’s iconic drama. It brings countryside storytelling to life with orchard trees, a wildflower meadow, a wildlife pond and even a working cheese-making area.
More than just gardens
Beyond the planting and design, the show offers a full summer experience. The Floral Marquee will host over 70 exhibitors, while striking installations and seasonal displays bring bursts of colour across the site. Visitors can also take part in the action by voting in the People’s Choice Award and seeing the RHS medal winners announced. Live music at Live @ the Lake, expert talks, artisan shopping and street food complete the experience, making it easy to spend an entire day exploring at a relaxed pace.
A stunning Gloucestershire setting
The show takes place at the historic Badminton Estate, a Grade I listed landscape set within 52,000 acres of parkland and gardens. Known for hosting the Badminton Horse Trials and featuring in productions such as Bridgerton, the estate provides a truly impressive backdrop for this new RHS event.
With its mix of world-class gardening, entertainment and countryside beauty, RHS Badminton Flower Show is set to become one of the UK’s standout summer days out.
