Brand new for 2026: a winter light and sound trail with neon animals, star arches and a carpet of colour.
Bristol Zoo Project is transformed into an immersive winter lights experience for the first time this year. Follow the trail through towering trees and winding paths to discover star arches, neon animals, lanterns, a carpet of colour and a fully lit Explorers Basecamp playground.
Warm up with hot chocolate, festive food and marshmallows toasted at the fire pit. Pre-booking is essential, and the animals are off show during the trail for welfare reasons. Paths can be uneven and muddy, so wear suitable shoes.
